Saturday 17 May 2025 sees the return of the European Night of Museums, the initiative promoted by the French Ministry of Culture and sponsored by UNESCO, the Council of Europe and ICOM, which takes place simultaneously throughout Europe with the aim of encouraging and promoting knowledge of national and European heritage and cultural identity.

For the event, on Saturday 17 May GAM, MAO and Palazzo Madama will be open until 11 pm.

From 6 p.m. all visitors will be able to take advantage of the special €1 entrance fee to access the permanent collections, as well as the temporary exhibitions Adapted Sceneries at the MAO and Bianco al femminile and Peltri a Torino at Palazzo Madama.

On the same evening, for an additional €1 for each exhibition, you can also visit: at GAM the temporary exhibitions FAUSTO MELOTTI. Let me enjoy myself! and the Contemporary exhibitions: ALICE CATTANEO. Dove lo spazio chiama il segno and Giosetta Fioroni; at the MAO, Haori. Men’s clothes of the early 20th century narrate Japan, and at Palazzo Madama Visit Italy! Tourism Promotion and Advertising 1900-1950.

The €1 rate will also be applied to Abbonamento Musei holders, who will not be able to use their cards. Free admission for Torino Card holders.

What you can visit:

At GAM: in addition to the permanent collections and the Living Depot, you can visit the temporary exhibitions FAUSTO MELOTTI. Let me enjoy myself! (+1€) and the Contemporary exhibitions: ALICE CATTANEO. Dove lo spazio chiama il segno and Giosetta Fioroni in the Videotheque space (+1€)

At the MAO: visitors can visit the five galleries of the permanent collections and the temporary exhibition Adapted Sceneries and Haori (+1€).

At Palazzo Madama: in addition to the permanent collections, visitors can visit the temporary exhibitions Giro di posta, Bianco al femminile and Peltri a Torino, and Visitate l’Italia! (+1€).
