WUF returns to Basel with Celebrating Paper, an event celebrating the power of paper in the contemporary art scene. On the 30th floor of the famous Messeturm at the iconic Bar Rouge, the two-day
two-day programme invites WUF members to explore a living archive of publications that interweave editorial practice and artistic research.
On 17 and 18 June, the WUF Lounge & Studio will be a dynamic meeting point for artists, publishers and culture professionals. Accessible exclusively to WUF members, the Lounge offers free video production, coffee, water and an energy bar in an atmosphere designed for conversation, collaboration and discovery.
At the centre of the space, a site-specific installation by Jesse Draxler entitled ‘U&Air Basel’, with books suspended in the air, together with a selection of author publications, will reflect on the book as medium and as memory.
